On Saturday, the two mice walked 15 blocks to the Franklin Institute, went to the Omniverse Theater, and had lunch on the 115th floor of the Liberty Skyscraper. Country Mouse didn’t sleep very well his first night in the city because of all the noise outside his window. So, he had to take the stairs up to the 34th floor. Country Mouse finally arrived at City Mouse’s high rise apartment building to find that the elevator was broken. He was almost run over by several cars and a bus along the way.
He had gotten lost in the maze of one way city streets and was stuck in traffic. Weekend in the Big City Country Mouse arrived in Philadelphia after an exhausting 3 hour trip from his home in the country. I can’t wait to see you!
